Nightmare on Elm Street

These 2 videos are examples of other title sequences from 2 slasher films. The ideas that we can take from these are mainly the creepy music as if you're being stalked. From 'Halloween' we like the idea of the pumpkin getting closer and closer as if it was the killer getting closer and closer. Obviously with us we won't use a pumpkin but we may use another prop in a similar way to how they used it and maybe in a slightly faster pace. With 'Nightmare on Elm Street' we also like how you see the killer making his finger blades and then at the end of the sequence we see him wearing his blades. What we're thinking of doing is to show the audience our killer's upbringing from his mother with flashes of him preparing to go out and kill someone.
